Winners of the oneM2M technical excellence award 2021

 

The technical excellence award is granted by consensus within the award committee, based on the criteria of sustained technical contributions, including as an editor, to oneM2M specifications over a period of 1 year, prior to the beginning of the nomination process. The award committee consists of the TP Chair, TP Vice-Chairs and the Working Group Chairs.

Delegates to the TP and WGs and the Working Group Vice-Chairs are eligible to be nominated. Note: WG Chairs and TP Chair and Vice-Chairs cannot be nominated.

The nomination period was open from TP50 until Monday 23rd August.

The award winner here below were announced and the award was presented virtually during the TP 51 opening. The physical award was posted to the winners.

Andreas Neubacher, Deutsche Telekom, was presented with this award thanks to his technical contribution to the work of oneM2M and in recognition of the numerous times he has represented oneM2M at various industry events, workshops and conferences.

Marianne Mohali, Orange, received the award for her contributions to the SDT work as well as her work on TS-0001 as Rapporteur. Marianne is also very active as Vice Chair in the Requirements and Domain Models Working Group.

Massimo Vanetti, SBS, in recognition of his engagement in the industrial area and his work with various SMEs as well as for representing onM2M on various occasions.

Rana Kamill, BT Plc, received the award for her tremendous start in the oneM2M security discussion with ITU-T SG20 related to the comment resolution for TS-0003 and her continued support of the oneM2M security work. Despite not having been able to attend any oneM2M meetings in person, she has been very active during the virtual meetings.
