AI is a key and highly complementary technology to IoT systems. With support from an ETSI Specialist Task Force (STF), a multidisciplinary project team explored how IoT systems can make use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for the management and interpretation of data from IoT devices.
The project goal was to provide an initially validated architecture and associated requirements to adapt oneM2M's horizontal architecture, API and portfolio of common service functions. This presentation provides an overview of the project, key findings and three proof-of-concept demonstrators illustrating a variety of use case scenarios.
