At the IEEE's 10th World Forum on the Internet of Things, oneM2M members presented on a range of IoT topics. This presentation, from Ingo Friese of Deutsche Telekom AG, describes a deployment involving the Port of Hamburg's Urban Data Platform. The implementation connected a SensorThings API, based on the Open Geospatial Consortium's standard, to Deutsche Telekom Lab's oneM2M platform. One result of the demonstration was to show how the two standards can coexist so that system designers benefit from access to a wider set of features.
