Massimo Vanetti, a representative of the European Digital SME Alliance, spoke at oneM2M’s 6 December 2023 Industry Day held in Tokyo (Japan). His presentation was in two parts. The first provided an update on a current ETSI project focused on Digital Twins and IoT with the aim of identifying interoperability and standardization opportunities related to modeling and IoT-to-Digital-Twin communications. The second part of his presentation is a real-word example of how SMEs can take the lead in developing modern standards and what factors lead to rapid results.
